This project has made it possible to acquire a collection of
twenty-five works dedicated to the city by

Edelmann,
Federico,

Glaser,
Gonda,
Henrion,
Hillman,
Igarashi,
Kurlansky,
Lupi,
McConnell,
Milani,
Paul,
Pericoli,
Schwartzman,
Vignelli.
Their interpretations of the city cover a wide range of themes: architecture, poetry, music, the earthquake, pollution, Vesuvius. The twenty-five posters have been exhibited in Naples, Rome, Los Angeles, Dundee, Lahti.
At the 1987 Lahden Biennal Exhibition, the project won the award
for the best social graphics. |
